Work completed in mutual effort through various study models + iterations.
Located in the Chelsea area of Manhattan, this project seeks to create an escape from the city. With soft curves, warm hues, and natural light, this workspace creates an environment for comfort, relaxation, and productivity. Unlike the traditional rigid structures of the NYC skyline, soft spaces embrace a more flexible and adaptable approach to design. These spaces often integrate movable elements, modular furniture, and adaptable layouts to accommodate various activities and user needs. Curvilinear responds to the evolving demands of contemporary work, fostering a sense of openness and collaboration. This concept challenges the conventional boundaries of architecture, promoting a more fluid and user-centric design philosophy. Soft spaces in the workplace offer a departure from static environments, embracing the idea that architecture should be responsive to the ever-changing dynamics of an individual’s work life.
